We are looking for a creative individual who is passionate about all aspects of social media marketing. The ideal candidate must have experience and be willing to keep up with the latest trends and changes across the platforms. Our client base is diverse so the candidate must be able to think on their feet and create captivating content for numerous industries. The candidate must be local to West Michigan and be willing to work in our Grand Rapids office.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Help to manage the social media presence of Web Traffic Partners to ensure brand consistency and generate successful sales leads
  • Work directly with our diverse group of clients to develop, coordinate and manage social media marketing projects, ads, including but not limited to:
    • Monitoring and Engagement
    • Campaigns /Ads/ Promotions
    • Custom Audits and Strategies
    • Profile Creation and Customization
    • Reporting
    • Client Consultation
  • Review, evaluate and identify opportunities based on data from multiple platforms
  • Create a social strategy to be presented as part of an overall integrated marketing campaign on behalf of the client
  • Write content for social media posts, blogs and ads

Requirements

  • Experience with Facebook Business Manager
  • Strong editing/grammatical skills and ability to speak in the OUW voice
  • Both written and verbal communication and analytic skills are a must
  • Collaborate as necessary with clients as well as Web Traffic Partners sales, SEO, PPC, design and marketing teams
  • Ability to maintain social media ad budgets and manage deadlines
  • Snappy writer with a good sense of humor
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) preferred with a focus in communication, marketing and/or advertising
  • 1-3 years of social media/digital marketing experience highly preferred

What You'll be doing:

  • Designing, developing and maintaining websites for existing and new clients, with a strong focus on quality, performance and maintainability.
  • Monitor and analyze sites' technical performance ensuring required optimization and functionality.
  • Team participation, with an emphasis on contributing ideas, thoughts, and constructive feedback regarding the work of others on our team.
  • Participating in code reviews, both of your code and of others.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in developing HTML5 responsive websites

  • Experience with WHM, cPanel or other LAMP server management
  • Experience developing mobile-friendly, responsive websites

What You'll be doing:

  • Use data analysis, tracking and research, including the use of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Business Manager, Google Adwords, social media channels and other tools, to assess the impact of digital marketing initiatives on online goals.
  • Create, execute and manage online marketing initiatives, including paid search, social media, email marketing and search engine optimization for Web Traffic Partners and our clients.
  • Plan and manage ongoing digital marketing projects to meet client needs and expectations.
  • Create paid search campaigns, including keyword research, bid management, ad copy, targeted landing pages and trackable calls to action.
  • Create clear, concise and compelling marketing content—such as social media posts, blog topics and ad marketing content.
  • Develop digital marketing campaigns via email, social media, and partnership marketing initiatives.
  • Create content calendars, including text, image and video content.
  • Place paid social and digital ads, execute paid search ads, including through Facebook Ads Manager and Google Adwords, ensuring appropriate targeting and budget optimization.
  • Monitor and optimize campaigns daily to meet campaign/client ROI goals.
  • Conduct ongoing keyword research to identify opportunities for Paid Search campaigns.
  • Analyze data in Google Analytics to monitor campaign performance.
  • Stay current and on top of industry trends and best practices.
  • Maximize traffic and conversion through core digital marketing tactics such as but not limited to: Email, Paid Search, Paid social, Display, Affiliate and SEO.
  • Curator of daily content and engagement for brands on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Twitter, ensuring consistency of messages across platforms.
  • Perform in-depth analysis and reporting of marketing spend and its impact across various channels (display, search, mobile, social, etc.)
  • Proactively provide recommendations on landing pages, websites and overall user experience for conversion optimization.
  • Perform advanced data analysis as well as managing website analytics platforms (Google Analytics).

Essential Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in digital and social media marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Communication preferred
  • Strong communication skills: writing, editing, verbal
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Be able to work independently, self-driven
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Facebook Business Manager and similar programs
