Web Traffic Partners, a fast growing Digital Marketing company, is looking to add an Jr. Developer / Web Designer to it's development team. This person is responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. You will work on both new and existing WordPress sites plus preform site maintenance and some template based design work. You must be fluent with modern web technologies including: HTML5, CSS3, Photoshop, WordPress and SEO. You will be detail oriented, committed to delivering professional level work and be able to work well as team member within our development department.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • You will be responsible for back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Create and maintain websites from templates using WordPress.
  • Manage time sensitive website updates in a fast paced environment.
  • Perform quality assurance for client websites and new product releases.
  • Assist in the building and designing website for various industries.

Requirements

  • This position requires a basic to intermediate knowledge of WordPress, HTML, CSS3, and Photoshop.

Social Media Manager

We are looking for a creative individual who is passionate about all aspects of social media marketing. The ideal candidate must have experience and be willing to keep up with the latest trends and changes across the platforms. Our client base is diverse so the candidate must be able to think on their feet and create captivating content for numerous industries. The candidate must be local to West Michigan and be willing to work in our Grand Rapids office.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Help to manage the social media presence of Web Traffic Partners to ensure brand consistency and generate successful sales leads
  • Work directly with our diverse group of clients to develop, coordinate and manage social media marketing projects, ads, including but not limited to:
    • Monitoring and Engagement
    • Campaigns /Ads/ Promotions
    • Custom Audits and Strategies
    • Profile Creation and Customization
    • Reporting
    • Client Consultation
  • Review, evaluate and identify opportunities based on data from multiple platforms
  • Create a social strategy to be presented as part of an overall integrated marketing campaign on behalf of the client
  • Write content for social media posts, blogs and ads

Requirements

  • Experience with Facebook Business Manager
  • Strong editing/grammatical skills and ability to speak in the OUW voice
  • Both written and verbal communication and analytic skills are a must
  • Collaborate as necessary with clients as well as Web Traffic Partners sales, SEO, PPC, design and marketing teams
  • Ability to maintain social media ad budgets and manage deadlines
  • Snappy writer with a good sense of humor

Our customers range from small local size businesses to large state-wide and regional businesses. We are looking for a person who has a stylish and modern eye, coupled with the know-how to manage digital marketing campaigns. What You'll be doing:

  • Use data analysis, tracking and research, including the use of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Business Manager, Google Adwords, social media channels and other tools, to assess the impact of digital marketing initiatives on online goals.
  • Create, execute and manage online marketing initiatives, including paid search, social media, email marketing and search engine optimization for Web Traffic Partners and our clients.
  • Plan and manage ongoing digital marketing projects to meet client needs and expectations.
  • Create paid search campaigns, including keyword research, bid management, ad copy, targeted landing pages and trackable calls to action.

  • Conduct ongoing keyword research to identify opportunities for Paid Search campaigns.
  • Analyze data in Google Analytics to monitor campaign performance.

  • Maximize traffic and conversion through core digital marketing tactics such as but not limited to: Email, Paid Search, Paid social, Display, Affiliate and SEO.
  • Curator of daily content and engagement for brands on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Twitter, ensuring consistency of messages across platforms.
  • Perform in-depth analysis and reporting of marketing spend and its impact across various channels (display, search, mobile, social, etc.)

Essential Qualifications:

What you will be doing:

  • Research, write, edit, and proofread web content
  • Write 500+ word blog posts
  • Write product/service pages
  • Research and write content for a wide range of industries (dental, legal, heating and cooling, asphalt, remodeling, etc.)
  • Optimize content for Google and other search engines
  • Keep up-to-date with best practices for web writing
  • Meet deadlines for monthly blog posts and other content
  • Brainstorm topics for future blog posts that meet client goals

Requirements and Education:

  • 1-2 years content writing experience.
  • Strong writing abilities with attention to detail
  • Understanding of SEO, keywords, and writing for the web
